Unlocking Possibilities

"I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me God for short. That's cute - I taught her that." - Ellen Degeneres

Sup, Lionheart?

Thank you to all who came out or watched the live stream of my show last night at Glitch at Arlene's Grocery!

In today's newsletter, I want to share with you:

- a meditation / prayer that is very special to me.
- upcoming show at Figment Festival
- From The Shower To The Stage: The Masterclass
- upleveled opportunity to write your songs and tell your story

---

Lionheart, I'd like to share this very special meditation that I listen to often and hope that it can be meaningful to you in some way:

"In this moment, we take a deep breath. We quiet ourselves and take this time to look inward. We start to feel ourselves breathing deeply, feeling peaceful, and allowing ourselves to be connected with gratitude: gratitude for our lives, gratitude for our bodies, and gratitude for our connection to the divine.

It is in this moment that we choose to remember that all things are possible. As we feel our consciousness opening up, not just to our recycled thoughts, but to a new way of being, a new way of receiving, we feel this openness expand. We get to remember that any of the natter that comes into our lives is a choice.

In this moment, we remember to choose the unlimited nature of the universe. In this moment, we remember to choose that all things are possible. In this moment, we remember to choose that we ARE loved, that we ARE guided, and that we ARE supported BEYOND our biggest dreams.

For all of this to come in for us to experience the realm of the miraculous and to LIVE the manifestations that we so desire, all we have to do is open up. All we have to do is ask. All we have to do is believe. All we have to do is adjust our attitude.

In this moment, we release any tension, any fear, any negativity, any thought or vibration that takes us further away from who we are and from what's possible. Again, we open up. We open up to the unlimited, we open up to the unknown, we open up to power, we open up to love.

As we continue to breathe deeply, remembering that Spirit / God / the Universe is here amongst us and that we are designed to succeed. We are designed to thrive. We are designed to contribute in a meaningful way. Let us now be open to guidance.

Dear God, where are you leading me next? Dear God, how can my life be used at the highest level? Dear God, please reveal to me my life purpose, what I'm meant for, how I'm meant to serve, and who I need to be so that your will may be done.

And so it is. Thank you. I receive your will. I receive the good you have coming towards me. I receive the miraculous blessings that are falling into my lap. I receive the resources that are necessary to move forward as you have designed. We pray this believing." - Gina DeVee

ABOUT FIGMENT FESTIVAL
It's time again for one of the city's largest participatory art events: Figment NYC, two days of interactive games and installations designed to encourage playfulness, creativity, experimentation, and exploration. This year the fest takes place on Roosevelt Island, and more than 120 artists will participate in making it happen. Just a taste of the weekend's delights: a mini-golf course designed by sixth-graders and inspired by fairy tales, theatrical pieces inside tiny boxes, participatory art-making from the Museum of Makeup Art, a costume station aboard a pirate ship, a giant unicorn art bike that powers its own light and sound system, a whimsical wheeled sailboat, a garden of wind chimes, a laser harp that plays sound based on live satellite data, and much, much more.

Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd // Lighthouse Park, Roosevelt Island, 900 Main St. Free.

This photo above was taken in Havana, Cuba on the front steps of famed Cuban singer Pablo Milanés' home and recording studio. Inside, a 6-piece Cuban band and 2 studio engineers were setting up their microphones to record and test levels. Photographer Mavel Valdes and I came out for a breath of fresh air and found this cute little cat.

Follow me on my Instagram stories and on Facebook to catch what's happening behind-the-scenes.

I couldn't and wouldn't do it withoutcha, Lionheart. Love u.
