Let's talk about music as an outlet.
"WITHOUT EXPERIMENTATION, A WILLINGNESS TO ASK QUESTIONS AND TRY NEW THINGS, WE SHALL SURELY BECOME STATIC, REPETITIVE, AND MORIBUND." - ANTHONY BOURDAIN
Let's talk about music as an outlet. Something happened this week that angered me, and I posted on my Instagram and Facebook stories about it. Follow me and my daily stories on Instagram here and on Facebook here. Oh, and by the way, what angered me had nothing to do with my lovely home. It had to do with a stranger. Here's what went down:
Bitch. Ima cream you! Whatchu gonna do about it? Arrest me?!
Hahaha. I'm not violent. But I do enjoy spitting out: Bitch. Ima cream you!
(and by cream you, I mean put my liquid foundation on you).
This is so much fun to think about! I crack myself up.
Ah, the joys of taking out anger and aggression through music.
It spurred me to get my new home studio set up.
ALSO! I have another new track in the works with producer Nick Hatfield, called "Gonna Lay Our Love." It's up on YouTube and I talk about the process of writing this track. Check out the video and song here.
I want to put this music out to the world and the only thing that's holding me back is having the financial resources to mix and master the tracks and pay for other production costs, like copywriting and marketing. My love, would you consider contributing $1 to my Patreon?
That's all for now. I'm forever grateful to have you on this journey with me. Sending love from my secret garden.
