THIS IS IT! The Campfire Documentary is coming soon. I can’t share the full video just yet, as it’s being sent out for various screening opportunities, but I can share some pictures! I am so excited to share with you the beautiful experience that I shared with the residents and my colleagues at the Ritsona Refugee Camp in Greece this summer. You can see how theater, music, and the arts connect people all over the world and provide hope, inspiration, connection to oneself, and a means of self-expression.
On another note, I'm feeling so elevated in the studio with producer Justin Mathews. We're tying up the final ends to my track 'Apollo'. As I'm sketching the vocal hook, I use reference tracks to conceptualize the essence of the song and the same numerical process in the YouTube video below to visualize my melody.
Lionheart, I went live on Facebook and Instagram last Friday in the studio on writing melodies and put the replay up on YouTube. A songwriter whom I work with uses Sigrid's 'High Five' as a reference track. In this video, I broke down Sigrid's melody using scale degrees / numbers so that the idea of the magically inspired melody is concrete and can be used as a model for her own songs.
